Our Staff

John is responsible for the immense growth of Harris Auto Racing since moving to their new Boone location, in August of 2005. John has had a great level of success on and off the track and his leadership abilities are what drive Harris Auto Racing to be the best chassis manufacturer in the industry. John’s personal accomplishments include over 100 Modified feature wins and 135 in other divisions to his credit and is a 5 time I.M.C.A. Super Nationals champion winning the event in 1995, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003.

Teresa has been with Harris Auto Racing for over 6 years and is our Administrative Manager where she has many responsibilities in the day to day operations of the business, including overseeing our website. She will be able to assist you with any information concerning postings or listings to the website or any other issues related to Harris Auto Racing that you may have questions or interest in.

Rocky has been with Harris Auto Racing for over 13 years starting out in the fabrication of parts, working his way up through the ranks of repairing and building chassis, shop foreman and recently promoted to assist customers with sales and technical support. Rocky has been racing in the sport mod division for the past 4 seasons with several wins to his credit. His overall experience and knowledge of the chassis will be a great asset when assisting customers.

Brian joined Harris Auto Racing in the spring of 2011. His responsibilities mirror those of Rocky, assisting customers with their sales and technical needs. Brian’s achievements include winning the I.M.C.A. National Championship in the Stock Car division in 1989 and has over 50 victories to his credit in the Stock Car and Modified division. His recent years of racing in the A-Mod division give him hands on approach when assisting customers with technical issues and concerns.

Ron has been with Harris Auto Racing for over 6 years. Ron is in charge of the sheet metal fabrication shop and also assists in the design of Star Track Race Car Bodies. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is what gives our chassis their distinct look and makes Harris Auto Racing and Star Track Race Car Bodies stand out above all the rest. Ron’s racing background reaches back to John’s racing career, as he was his Crew Chief and was a large part of John’s success for several years.

Lynn has been with Harris Auto Racing for over 13 years. Lynn started at Harris Auto Racing manufacturing components and working his way up by performing repairs and with this experience eventually started building chassis. Lynn’s racing background started in the Hobbystock division and has been racing in the Sportmod division the past 6 years with several wins to his credit.

Todd has been with Harris Auto Racing for the past 5 years. Todd started out producing Hobbystock and Stockcar chassis and has recently been promoted to building our Modified chassis. Todd has raced successfully in the Hobbystock division in the past and has a great deal of knowledge to pass on to young upcoming drivers.

Joe has been with Harris Auto Racing for over 2 years. His responsibilities at Harris began with manufacturing and building our rear end housings and mass-producing parts for our customers. His attention to detail and craftsmanship qualities are what help set us aside from other manufacturers mass-producing parts of similar design.

Randy has been with Harris Auto Racing for over 2 years. His responsibilities include the fabrication of our stubs for the Modified division as well as the mass production of different type parts that we manufacture on location.

Robert joined Harris Auto Racing in the summer of 2011 on a full time basis. Robert himself started out building rear end housings and chassis components to working himself into a position of building Hobbystock and Stockcars. Robert has raced in many divisions from go-carts in 1997, to Hobbystocks and late models as of recently. He currently races in the hobbystock division with many victories to his credit.

Jonathon joined Harris Auto Racing in the summer of 2011. His responsibilities are extensive in the fabrication of chassis components and as general mechanic in the assembly of our chassis. Since he comes from such a high profile father, Jonathon has aspirations himself of some day racing.

Jerry joined Harris Auto Racing in the summer of 2011. His current responsibilities include the production and repairs of our rear end housing assemblies as well as general mechanic. Jerry has been racing competitively since 2001, starting in the Hobbystock division where he won a track championship in 2007 and eventually advancing into the Stock car division where he has many feature wins in a Terminator Chassis to his credit.

Kyle has worked for Harris Auto Racing on a part time basis, as he is a full time student at Iowa State University where he is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Kyle works in our aluminum fabrication shop where he assists Ron in production of Star Track Race Car Bodies. Kyle has been racing in the Sportmod division since 2006 and has several feature wins to his credit.
